We are an equestrian RV Campground surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. Gordon Creek is ideal for avid horseback riders looking to explore scenic Colorado. Equestrian RV camping is an experience like no other. Planning and preparation are the keys to a successful trip. You won’t regret it, so go ahead and imagine arriving at an idyllic RV park, saddling up your equine companion and riding off into the sunset.
- With your own horse you have access to miles of trails in Roosevelt National Forest. You can trailer your horse to nearby designated trail heads.
- If traveling more than 75 miles within the state of Colorado. It’s Colorado law to have a brand inspection done on your horse. If traveling in from another state you should carry: 1) Ownership records, if coming from a brand state you should have a brand inspection certificate. If you’re from a non-brand state you should have a legal bill of sale. 2) Campers must show current health records and a negative Coggins test within the last year. - Covered horse runs are $45 per night. You bring your own feed and we will provide water for your horse. Night stalls are $35 per night. You must clean up after your stay.
